I’ve been training regularly for the Broad Street Run. After several years of saying I want to do it, this year will finally be the one. I’ve been trying to run outside as much as possible so as not to anger the neighbors with the thud-thud-thud of the treadmill. Makes me wish I had a basement ceiling that had more than an inch of clearance above my head. However, I still say it’s the best way to find your pace.
Good news: The toe’s mostly healed, and doesn’t give me any real trouble.
Bad news: Yelling “Run, Forrest, Run!” hasn’t been funny for several years, if ever.
